Unless specifically stated otherwise in writing, golf carts sold by Holoholo Carts LLC are sold for off-road and private-property use only.
Customers are responsible for determining whether a golf cart may legally be operated on any public road, street, highway, sidewalk, bike path, or other public area.
2. Local Laws, Registration, and Legal Compliance
Golf cart laws and requirements vary by location. The customer is solely responsible for researching and complying with all applicable federal, state, county, and local laws before operating a golf cart.
This may include requirements involving:
* Vehicle registration or titling
* Driver licensing
* Insurance
* Seat belts
* Mirrors
* Headlights and taillights
* Brake lights and turn signals
* Windshields
* Speed restrictions
* Passenger limits
* Approved roads, paths, or operating areas
The purchase or installation of lights, mirrors, turn signals, seat belts, or other safety equipment does not automatically make a golf cart street legal.
Holoholo Carts LLC does not guarantee that any golf cart will qualify for registration, licensing, insurance, low-speed vehicle classification, or legal operation on public roads.
3. Safe and Responsible Operation
Customers and operators are responsible for using all golf carts and equipment safely and appropriately.
Golf carts should not be operated:
* By an unlicensed, inexperienced, or impaired driver
* With more passengers than available designated seating
* At unsafe speeds
* On prohibited roads or property
* In a reckless or negligent manner
* While passengers are standing, hanging from the cart, or riding outside designated seating areas
* Without appropriate supervision when operated by a minor
Customers should review all manufacturer instructions, safety warnings, weight limits, charging instructions, and maintenance recommendations before operating or servicing a golf cart.
4. Custom Golf Cart Build Timelines
Custom golf carts require an estimated minimum of 6 to 8 weeks to complete.
The 6-to-8-week period is an estimate and not a guaranteed completion date. Some builds may take longer depending on:
* Parts availability
* Freight and shipping delays
* Manufacturer or distributor backorders
* Custom paint or coating requirements
* Battery, motor, controller, or electrical availability
* Customer-requested changes
* Design approvals
* Shop workload
* Unforeseen mechanical or electrical issues
* Weather, port, carrier, or interisland transportation delays
Build timelines generally begin after the build specifications have been confirmed and any required payment or deposit has been received.
Changes requested after a custom build has been approved may increase the total price and extend the completion timeline.
Customers should not schedule transportation, events, travel, or other commitments based on an estimated completion date unless Holoholo Carts LLC has provided written confirmation that the cart is ready.
5. Parts Orders and Freight Timelines
Parts that are not currently in stock require an estimated minimum of two weeks for freight and shipping.
The two-week period is a minimum estimate and is not a guaranteed delivery date. Orders may take longer because many products must be shipped from the continental United States to Hawaiʻi, transferred through a freight forwarder, transported by ocean or air carrier, and processed through local terminals or warehouses.
Additional delays may result from:
* Supplier processing times
* Manufacturer backorders
* Freight-forwarder schedules
* Port congestion
* Carrier delays
* Weather conditions
* Holiday closures
* Incorrect or incomplete shipments
* Damaged freight
* Interisland shipping schedules
* Customs or regulatory inspections, when applicable
Holoholo Carts LLC is not responsible for delays caused by manufacturers, distributors, freight forwarders, shipping carriers, ports, or other third parties outside of our reasonable control.
Customers will be contacted when their order is available for pickup, delivery, installation, or scheduling.
6. Product Availability and Special Orders
Product availability may change without notice.
An item appearing on our website, estimate, invoice, social media page, or other marketing material does not guarantee that the item is currently in stock.
Certain golf carts, batteries, wheels, tires, motors, controllers, seat kits, accessories, and replacement parts may need to be specially ordered.
Special-order and custom-order products are subject to supplier availability. Holoholo Carts LLC cannot guarantee that a manufacturer or distributor will continue producing a particular item, color, design, size, model, or configuration.
When an ordered product becomes unavailable, we may contact the customer to discuss a comparable replacement, revised timeline, or other available resolution.
7. Product Photos, Colors, and Specifications
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate product descriptions, photographs, measurements, specifications, pricing, and availability.
However:
* Colors may appear differently depending on lighting, photography, screens, or devices.
* Refurbished and used carts may contain cosmetic wear or variations.
* Manufacturer specifications may change without notice.
* Product photos may show optional accessories that are not included in the listed price.
* Custom carts may vary slightly from renderings, examples, inspiration photos, or previously completed builds.
* Actual parts may differ slightly in appearance while serving the same intended function.
Customers should review their estimate, invoice, or written build specifications to confirm exactly what is included with their purchase. It is encouraged that customers request any additional pictures where they feel necessary prior to making any online purchases.
8. Refurbished and Used Golf Carts
Many golf carts sold by Holoholo Carts LLC are used, refurbished, rebuilt, upgraded, or customized.
Although we inspect and replace components as appropriate for each build, a refurbished golf cart is not the same as a brand-new vehicle. Normal cosmetic imperfections, wear, prior repairs, or signs of previous use may remain.
The specific repairs, replacements, upgrades, and accessories included with a cart will be listed on the applicable product page, estimate, invoice, or sales documentation.
No component should be assumed to be new unless it is specifically identified as new in writing.
9. Performance, Speed, and Driving Range
Any speed, battery range, charging time, towing ability, weight capacity, or performance information provided by Holoholo Carts LLC is an estimate.
Actual performance may vary depending on:
* Passenger and cargo weight

Holoholo Carts LLC does not guarantee that a golf cart will consistently reach a specific speed, range, or performance level under all operating conditions.
10. Modifications and Aftermarket Components
Custom and aftermarket modifications may affect a golf cart’s handling, braking, steering, stability, speed, range, classification, warranty coverage, insurance eligibility, or legal use.
These modifications may include:

* Speed adjustments
* Motor or controller upgrades
* Lithium battery conversions
* Rear-seat kits

* Audio systems

* Suspension modifications

Customers acknowledge that modified golf carts may operate differently from factory-standard vehicles.
Holoholo Carts LLC is not responsible for damage, injury, performance issues, or legal consequences resulting from modifications performed by the customer or another business after the cart leaves our possession.
11. Customer Maintenance Responsibilities
Golf carts require regular inspection, charging, cleaning, and maintenance.
Customers are responsible for following the applicable maintenance and care requirements for their cart and its components, including batteries, chargers, brakes, tires, suspension, steering, wiring, and electrical accessories.
Failure to properly maintain, charge, store, or operate a golf cart may result in damage and may affect any applicable manufacturer or workmanship warranty.
Customers should contact Holoholo Carts LLC promptly when they notice warning lights, unusual noises, charging problems, steering issues, braking concerns, leaks, damaged wiring, overheating, or changes in performance.
12. Batteries and Charging
Battery performance and lifespan depend heavily on proper charging, storage, maintenance, and use.
Customers are responsible for:
* Using the correct charger
* Following the battery manufacturer’s instructions
* Charging the cart in a dry, ventilated area
* Avoiding improper extension cords or electrical connections
* Protecting batteries and chargers from water and physical damage
* Avoiding prolonged storage at an improper charge level
* Monitoring the cart during charging when recommended
* Discontinuing use if the battery or charger shows signs of damage, swelling, overheating, smoke, unusual odor, or malfunction
Battery warranties, when applicable, are subject to the battery manufacturer’s individual warranty terms and approval process.
13. Estimates, Pricing, and Payments
Website prices, advertised prices, verbal estimates, and preliminary quotes may change due to product availability, freight costs, supplier price increases, taxes, customer-requested changes, or additional work discovered during inspection.
The customer’s written estimate or invoice will identify the products and services included in the transaction.
Unless otherwise stated:
* Applicable taxes are added to the purchase price.
* Delivery, hauling, freight, installation, and after-hours services may require additional fees.
* Work outside the original scope may require a revised estimate or customer approval.
* An order is not confirmed until any required payment or deposit has been received.
Cancellation, refund, return, warranty, and deposit terms are governed by the applicable estimate, invoice, product listing, sales agreement, manufacturer policy, or separate written policy provided to the customer.
14. Third-Party Manufacturers and Warranties
Holoholo Carts LLC sells and installs products made by independent manufacturers and suppliers.
Manufacturer warranties are provided by the manufacturer, not Holoholo Carts LLC, unless a separate written workmanship warranty is specifically provided.
Warranty claims may require:

* Delays caused by suppliers, manufacturers, freight forwarders, carriers, ports, or other third parties
* Reliance on estimated completion, shipping, speed, range, or performance information
Customers purchase, operate, maintain, modify, transport, and store golf carts and related equipment at their own responsibility and risk.
Nothing in this Disclosure & Disclaimer excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
